"How the document taxonomy helps us to rationalize and optimize our systems managing communication ?"
A large Corporate Program, so named WALI (Workflow - Agenda - Letter - Inbound) started in 2008 within our company and aims at delivering a company wide solution supporting a wide variety of the customer facing processes: from incoming to outgoing documents and communications including workflow and case management functions. It will allow to strongly improve overall company efficiency, image and customer service quality. Its value is already clearly illustrated in some business cases and will not only allow some mandatory applications replacement but also their uplifting to a new a tools’ generation. An asset supporting Strategy and bringing value
• Improved service and productivity of clerks
• Truly paves the way for electronic communication with clients and third parties
• More efficient maintenance & design of letters
• Enhanced quality and contents of editions
In this context, for the Document domain, but also in the other domains of the WALI Program, to reach the Company objectives, a common reference model and a clear vision on the type of documents and the concepts these contains was clearly a prerequisite to address the way the Document Assets are managed from the requirements to the Production phases."
